So, my specific Vitamix model is the 6300 and is now retired. I’ve had it for almost 10 years and it makes life so much easier! I use it for smoothies, soup bases, pureeing tomatoes and apples for canning with the skins on to save time and keep the fiber, and the list goes on and on. These are not cheap, they are an investment, but worth EVERY penny. Great machine and great customer service.
